I was born and raised in the Crescent City, and after traveling the world, I can guarantee you this:

There's no place, no food, no spirit like New Orleans.

The Big Easy should never be a hard place to find a great meal. And with my guidance it won't be. Every place you see here, I've visited firsthand. From Five Star to Dive Bar - you can rest assured that if I recommend it, I've eaten it.

Gumbo. PoBoys. Hurricanes. Daiquiris. Chargrilled Oysters....

No matter what you're craving, I'm here to make sure you have it.  Come see us, eat with us, drink with us, talk to us. You'll never be the same.

Patricka Elaine Hogue has traveled to almost 60 countries, but in her heart, New Orleans always takes the [king] cake. Born and raised in the Crescent City, this 1999 graduate of Xavier Prep loves all things travel and food. She has lived and worked abroad, from teaching English at Soonchunhyang University in Asan, South Korea, to studying Spanish in Granada, Spain.

Her wanderlust has expanded her view of not only the world, but also herself. With every country, city and village visited, Patricka becomes a true global citizen. She immerses herself into cultures and strays off the beaten path. She is drawn to people from all walks of life and is always plotting her next international adventure.

When she’s not 35,000 feet in the air and off to her next destination, the addictive pull of the Big Easy finds a way to keep her grounded. Patricka is the NOLA ambassador to friends and strangers alike, always making sure that guests eat well when they come. She says, "Food is just as important of a cultural experience as anything else. No one should ever come to New Orleans wondering where they should eat."

Whether donning a fleur-de-lis in South Africa or doing the Second Line in South Korea, this single native loves representing her beloved city. You can follow her adventures in travel and food, both locally and around the world, by following her on Instagram at 504Globetrotter.
