Messina’s at the Terminal Runway Café (New Orleans Lakefront Airport)

I’d always heard about this place, but it wasn’t until recently that I finally decided to go one Sunday and give it a try. This restaurant is housed in the absolutely gorgeous Lakefront Airport. With it’s Art Deco style, it’s easy to see why this place is favorite by locals looking for a great brunch, as well as brides looking for those perfect wedding photos. The food is great (I loved the Shrimp & Grits!), and it’s awesome to watch the private planes take off and land from the nearby runway. This restaurant is located in New Orleans East, so you will need to grab an Uber/Lyft.
