Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon

Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon

I have to admit, I did roll my eyes a bit when I first heard about this restaurant. I mean, I do have to admit that it sounded as gimmicky as other athlete-inspired restaurants, but I gave it a chance. There’s actually some really good food here. The fried catfish is perfectly amazing, and any poboy you choose will be delicious, and served on some of the freshest French bread you can find.

(NB: There’s another athlete-inspired restaurant in the city that is quite awful. I won’t name names, but it’s named after a former Saint, who has 2 sons in the NFL, and it rhymes with Canning. Don’t eat there.)
