Desire Bistro & Oyster Bar

So I love BBQ shrimp…like, L-O-V-E…but I often don’t order it because I don’t always feel like getting all my fingers dirty with the peeling and such. However, not only is this the BEST BBQ shrimp I’ve ever had, IT COMES ALREADY PEELED! (Can I get an amen?) The shrimp are delicious, and the sauce it is served in will have you cleaning the bowl with the fresh bread they provide. Just trust me on this. Another favorite is the Shrimp & Grits. It’s pretty darn amazing. I’ve had it a few times and it never disappoints. Desire was also the first place I ever tried Turtle Soup, and theirs is delicious! It is served with sherry poured tableside, and is certainly worth a try. Just as important as the food is the service, and Desire consistently provides a high level of service, with knowledgeable and responsive wait staff, even during peak times.
